No-exam life insurance
Which applicants qualify for faster approval, how the process differs, and what happens if you don't qualify.
Most insurance companies now provide accelerated approval: for eligible applicants, they make decisions based on your application, pharmacy data, driving history, and other records—no medical exam needed. Approvals can happen in hours. Every quote here indicates if an exam is definitely needed, might be needed, or isn't required for that plan.
What it changes
Accelerated approval doesn't mean you skip underwriting. Your statements are verified, and policies based on false information may be challenged for two years. If the carrier has concerns, they may request exams or tests anyway; you then decide whether to proceed.
Who tends to qualify
Usually anyone under about 60 years old, requesting coverage within the carrier's limits, with a clean health background and no tobacco use for over a year. If you've had a recent medical checkup with lab results, many carriers will accept those instead.
If one is needed, expect a paramedic to visit your home or workplace in the Pleasant Hill area for 20 to 30 minutes at no charge. Healthy people often see exam results boost their rate class, making it potentially beneficial rather than harmful.
